Join Trust for Nature and Yarra4Life for an inspiring morning exploring the important role landholders can play in conserving native plants, wildlife and ecosystems along the Yarra/Birrarung.

Over morning tea at the historic Badger Creek Old School, you’ll hear from local landholders who have chosen to permanently protect habitat on their properties through conservation covenants and learn about the different ways people can contribute to conservation on private land.

Our guest speaker, David De Angelis, will share insights into the frogs of the Middle Yarra catchment and discuss how landholders can help protect and improve frog habitat on their own properties.

Following the presentation, guests are invited to join a guided walk through Healesville Bushland Reserve with a Trust for Nature ecologist to discover more about the area’s biodiversity and conservation values.

Whether you’re already caring for native habitat or simply curious about the opportunities available, we’d love to welcome you.
